Middlethorpe Hall
A Queen Anne style country house built exactly 300 years ago, surrounded
by 20 acres of parkland and garden, yet only ten minutes from the historic
city of York. Middlethorpe Hall was built in 1699 for Thomas Barlow, a
wealthy Sheffield ironmaster and was later the home of the famous diarist
and gossip, Lady Mary Wortley Montagu.

The Croft Hotel is situated in the middle of Scarborough's beautiful north
bay. Those who know the resort will need no introduction to the magnificent
views from this splendid location. For first time visitors, the sweep
of the bay and the coastal cliffs to the north, coupled with the rugged
